The legal regulations on data protection are derived from the European General Data Protection Regulation. The German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG) apply in addition.
Personal data includes, for example, the name, address or date of birth of the user (cf. Art. 4 DSGVO). This information is only collected and processed in accordance with the legal data protection regulations on the website.
Access data
The site operator collects, on the basis of a legitimate interest, the following data:
- Target website
- Time of access
- Amount of data sent
- Source page
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP address
The data is stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The storage serves the security to be able to pursue and clear up abuse. If such a case occurs, the data concerned may remain stored until the incident is resolved.
Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data collected by the operator in the course of use will only be disclosed with express consent or in accordance with legal regulations. The data subject’s rights to deletion, correction, etc. also apply here.
In the case of anonymous use of the site, only the non-personal data is stored and used to improve the online offering. Tracing via this data is not possible.
Data acquisition – Request by e-mail or phone
If you contact me by e-mail or phone, your request including all resulting personal data (name, request) will be stored and processed by me for the purpose of processing your request. I will not share this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, provided that your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO), as I have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of requests addressed to me.
The data you send to me via contact requests will remain with me until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
Cookies
To improve the user experience on the website, so-called cookies are used. They allow easier access for users who repeatedly visit the website. Cookies are small files that are transferred from the user’s browser to the user’s PC and stored there. This recognition is possible because the cookies also transmit the IP address.
Users do not have to allow this, because browsers provide options to disable or at least restrict the storage of cookies. In this context, it should be noted that the full use of the website may then not be possible.
Dealing with public comments and contributions
In order to protect the rights of users on the site, when you leave a post or comment, we store the IP address. This is intended to enable the tracking of illegal content.
Right to information / deletion / revocation
The Basic Data Protection Regulation grants the user the right to obtain information free of charge from the operator of the website about which personal data is stored. In addition, the latter shall be entitled to arrange for the deletion, blocking or correction of incorrect data, insofar as there is no legal obligation to retain such data.
